SOA Monitoring: Making it 24x7
Monitoring your SOA infrastructure is crucial in maintaining the highest level of efficiencies and making smarter business decisions.
Having systems in place to play detective 24/7 can give you significant performance insight - on both operational and business levels.
Learn how to determine where your bottlenecks and problem areas are, and how to make better informed business decisions and
re-position your organization to take full advantage of emerging opportunities.
Critical to an effective SOA monitoring implementation is a strategy for both IT application monitoring and business activity monitoring.
Application monitoring in an SOA environment can help you understand how applications are performing technically.
Gain an understanding of service use, flows and relationships. Manage established service levels with alerts, mediations and workflows.
Speed the identification and resolution of SOA problems and drill down to service status and metrics.
The goals of Business Activity Monitoring are to provide real time information about the status and results of various operations,
processes, and transactions. The main benefits of BAM are to enable an enterprise to make better informed business decisions,
quickly address problem areas, and re-position organizations to take full advantage of emerging opportunities.
